While most of the check processing industry has moved away from using a single large sorter for capture of items, MIPS continues to support a variety of BancTec, NCR and Unisys sorters of various speeds.  We continue to use sorters for standard capture and sorting, as well ATM envelope capture and remittance capture.  This sorter capture can be blended with remote capture, and electronic processing of items.
