Northwest Bank Technology will soon be releasing version 2.0 of the MIPS Merchant Capture server and client products. Merchant Capture is one of the newest offerings from NBT, allowing the customers of financial institutions to capture checks for deposit and electronically submit them to the bank. This allows the customer to make a deposit at any time rather than making the traditional "run to the bank" at the end of the day. In addition, using industry standard 128-bit SSL encryption, deposits can be made quickly and securely.

Based on feedback from our valued customers, Merchant Capture has been re-designed from the group up using some of the latest technologies available, including...

• Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

• Web-based administration
• Merchant administrators can now manage user accounts for all devices in their organization, including device access by user.
• Detailed reports tracking the number of deposits, item count, and dollar amount by merchant
• Detailed audit logs are available through the administration site

Merchant Capture 2.0 is expected to be available by the end of Q1 2007.
